Healthcare is a human right.

According to the U.S. Census, nearly 1 in 5 children in Texas live in poverty, and many families struggle to access even basic healthcare.

Project Update

Our Giving Day plans have shifted! Instead of the Austin event, Global Impact Project will now directly partner with Bloom Academy in Houston for volunteer days on November 18 and November 26.

Bloom Academy provides a safe and nurturing space for children from low-income families and orphans to learn and grow. Funds raised through ACTUM Giving will support classroom improvements, including painting, learning materials, and cleaning supplies, helping create brighter spaces where every child can thrive.

Simple screenings like blood pressure checks or vaccines can be out of reach for low-income households, leaving preventable health issues undetected.

On November 8 in Austin, ACTUM Giving will join the Global Impact Project for Giving Day on the Farm. This family-friendly event will bring together farm-to-table food, children’s activities, live entertainment, and most importantly, free health screenings for kids in a welcoming community space.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help cover the costs of medical supplies and ensure families leave not only with memories, but also with peace of mind about their children’s health.

By making preventive care accessible, we give parents the confidence to seek support, catch health concerns early, and build a healthier future for their families.
