Recap of Denied Access: Sip & Shop
We hosted a Sip & Shop event at Cocktail Bed-Stuy, where we hosted a pop-up vintage shop with Voo Vintage. Cocktail Bed-Stuy created three craft cocktails especially for the event, with proceeds supporting our reproductive healthcare access campaign, Denied Access.
Owners Irene and Ivan have created such a welcoming and safe community space, and the people who joined us made the evening even more special. We enjoyed curious conversations while sipping spicy margaritas and a refreshing summer fig spritz.
We’re so grateful to Voo Vintage for bringing a beautiful selection of clothing straight from Italy. Guests had the chance to browse one-of-a-kind pieces while connecting with others in the community.
We also held a raffle, similar to the one at our Flow for Access event. Our wonderful friend Phoebe handmade bags from recycled materials, and they were a hit at both events!
We’re thankful for the opportunity to host a social event that brought people together while creating space for meaningful conversations about reproductive healthcare access and the funding crisis affecting this work. Community support, whether through a purchase, a drink, a donation, or an honest conversation, helps us continue building awareness and working toward more accessible reproductive healthcare.
It was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when community, creativity, and a shared cause come together.
